Racing in Europe

My name is Kendra Giesbrecht. I am an 18 year-old alpine ski racer from St. Albert, Alberta. I have dedicated my life to this sport, and I am proud to say that I have recently been named to the Canadian Alpine Ski Team Development Team (CAST D-Team).

I am currently ranked as one of the top skiers in the country in slalom and giant slalom, and in the top 30 in the world in slalom, for my age. My FIS points are 35.04 in slalom and 35.91 in giant slalom, ranking me at 353rd and 359th. I was very fortunate to be selected to represent Canada at the World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships in Haute Savoie, France in January of 2024. My ultimate goal is to progress from the CAST D-Team to represent Canada on the CAST team on the World Cup circuit. I have been relentless in pursuing my athletic goals so far, and I know this is just the beginning.

My family has made incredible sacrifices to get me to this point, and they continue to be my greatest supporters. That is why I am turning to you, my fellow ski racing enthusiasts, for support. Donations raised on this platform will go directly to help offset my team fees for the 2024-25 season. Your support can help me continue to pursue my dreams and push the boundaries of what is possible on the mountain.
