Hi my name is Ryan Vo,
I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, where I began snowboarding at the age of 10. I entered competitive snowboarding at 12 and participated in my first international contest at 18 in Switzerland. In 2023, I achieved a significant milestone by being selected for the NexGen Halfpipe Development Team, a goal I have pursued with dedication despite various challenges.
Joining the NexGen team is especially meaningful to me, as it reflects my commitment to competing in the 2026 Milano Olympics and my resilience in the face of setbacks.
Over the past year, I have been intensively training to qualify for the Canadian National Team, as this is an important step toward my Olympic aspirations. Being part of this team will provide me with the opportunity to compete in World Cup events, which are essential for my qualification process.
In addition to my snowboarding career, I am currently studying Computer Science at the University of Calgary. I am an ambitious, passionate, and dedicated individual, with the ultimate goal of winning an Olympic medal for Canada.
