Meet Zach Bezushko, a passionate 15-year-old snowboarder hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta. With a deep love for the sport, Zach kickstarted his snowboarding journey at Nitehawk and has since emerged as a formidable competitor.
Having relocated to Calgary a few years ago, Zach intensified his commitment, working with coaches and making impressive strides in competitive snowboarding. Currently ranked 6th in Alberta for Slopestyle and 8th for Halfpipe, Zach's dedication shines through his notable achievements, including a 1st place finish at the 2023 Jasper Freeride at Marmot Basin, a mountain close to his heart since childhood.
Now a proud member of the provincial team, Zach is gearing up for his first out-of-Alberta competitions. He'll be representing in Colorado, Whistler, and Ontario, participating in National and Noram events across Canada and the US. His ultimate goal: earning an invitation to compete for Canada at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, Korea.
