I am a 19 year old alpine snowboard racer from Baie d’Urfé. I recently completed my second year on the NextGen Program of the Canadian National Snowboard Team and my third season of competing at an international level.
I have been chasing “perfect turns” since the day I started snowboarding. Luckily, my dad, who used to be an alpine snowboarder himself, was there to instill in me a strong and solid foundation in the sport and he continues to coach me. It’s always been a family thing for us!
I began competing on the provincial circuit in 2019 and then progressed to the North American Cup circuit in 2022, where I finished 7th overall. From that point on, everything began to progress very quickly, and having my dad as both a mentor and coach has been invaluable. He continues to guide me with his expertise and passion for the sport, ensuring I build on the strong foundation he helped me establish. I won the NorAm Cup overall and the Canadian Nationals in the two following years, and gained valuable experience on the both the Europa Cup and World Cup circuits. Last season, I won my two first Europa Cups in Moninec (CZE) and in Davos (SUI), and achieved my first World Cup final and personal best in Winterberg (GER) with a 12th place finish. I also had the opportunity to participate in three different Junior World Championships, in Italy (2022), Bulgaria (2023) and in Austria (2024) where I won both the PGS and PSL events.
During the summer, I focus on dry-land training in the gym and work to support my upcoming season financially. Additionally, I also have the opportunity to travel to Chili for pre-season training in August, which will be excellent preparation.
My main goal for next season is to consistently make finals at World Cup events.
Thank you very much for your help!
